Hi ,

This is the reason I don't count anything. I learn what I can eat and that's

what I do. I'll try a new food a couple of times and if I get high readings

both times, I don't eat that food again, at least for a while.

There are some people that only test fasting and after dinner. If they are

eating this so-called low carb bread for lunch, what kind of numbers are they

getting.

There was a article in our local paper over the weekend that was talking

about Low carb breads. it tested one brand that said low carb and was really

17 grams of carb per slice!

I wish I had saved the article because I was so mad. We depend on

information on food labels and they screw around.

What lies behind us and what lies before

us are small matters compared to what

lies within us.

Whew, i get the Country Pride low carb white bread. Minus the fiber it has 6

carbs per slice! Yesturday i had 3½ slices of french toast with ¼ cup sugar

free syrup and my 2 hour was 98! Out of the low carb breads i've tried this

one is the best because it doesn't raise my levels and it actualy tastes like

regular ole white bread!
