Guest guest
Yesterday, I talked to my friend with the baby with delays. I recommended that she take her baby to early intervention and have the baby evaluated. She appreciated the recommendation, and she took the phone number of who to call. She said the pediatrician has not acted too concerned, but the baby's grandmother is very concerned. The grandmother thinks the baby should have a second opinion. I told her that it was my opinion that since the pediatrician already recommended physical therapy, then I would just go ahead and get an evaluation by early intervention. I also told her that I don't know why the pediatrician didn't just recommend early intervention in the first place. They have free evaluations, and if services are needed they are provided for free and in the home. Anyway, my friend liked the suggestion.
