Guest guest
Benita, Not everyone has morning sickness. I did (a medial RNY). Some people don't. It is very individual. A study done by some medical institution -- I don't have it off hand -- says that the majority of women who experienced morning sickness were pregnant with girls. Also only about 55% of people experience morning sickness. That was in one of my parenting/pregnancy magazines. Be thankful you don't have it but don't worry about it. Just because you aren't nauseous doesn't mean you are not pregnant. It just means you are lucky right now. Rasley mailto:drasley@... I am 7 weeks pregnant today and I feel fine. I'm worried that I don't have morning sickness, my mother was sick with all 3 of us and my sister was very sick until she lost her baby. I just don't feel pregnant and I was wondering if it has to do with our small stomachs. I know other people have talked about morning sickness, did any of you have the proximal roux-en-Y? I have my first dr appt on Wednesday, but I'm wondering if they made a mistake saying I was pregnant. I still haven't gotten a period so I think I am. I am very tired, but that's it. I feel like I've already started gaining weight too. The scale is only up a couple of pounds but my clothes are so tight. Any advice? Benita Children are a reward from the Lord. Guest guest
Benita I think it depends on if you are prone to ms anyway......I personally did not have ms with my first daughter and did not also with this child, a boy. I usually dont feel good maybe for about 1 wk then Im ok. Just tired and headaches is what I get. I had the prox rny surgery, fobi pouch. The level of hormones also determines your sickness level. I have to be very late to show Im pregnant so I dont make much hormone and I dont get sick. Some can take test before their period is due and find out cause they make more, but they get sicker I think. Hormones make you sick, not the baby.......lol
Guest guest
, Thanks. Well I now know I'm pregnant for sure and lets hope it stays that way. I have been running on adrenaline the last couple of weeks between my sisters miscarriage and my aunt's death. I was at the hospital for 3 days straight and then making a picture memorial for her. Anyway I started having some bleeding yesterday and I ended up at the hospital after her memorial service and they did an ultra sound and confirmed the pregnancy, they said I'm only about 6 weeks along but they said I was threatening to miscarry so I need to be on bed rest. Anybody else have this? They said that 75% of people go on to have normal pregnancies and not to worry that much, that there wasn't really much blood at all. How do you not worry?? Benita " D. Guest guest
Lenore, I know, I know. I guess I just always associated morning sickness with pregnancy. I guess I'm not as far along as they thought too, so who knows it might hit me still. Benita Lenore wrote: > Are you crsazy woman?!?!?! Thank god no Morning sickness.
