Welcome to the group, Fansler! You report a host of diabetes complications

(kidney transplant, dialysis, leg circulation problems, angioplasty). Please

tell us how you go about treating your diabetes, and your history (medications,

insulin, etc.). Maybe we can help. What was your latest HbA1c? Some

complications can be reversed. How are your eyes? How about neuropathy?

Welcome to the group.

Your #'s sound pretty good, and your goal of HbA1c <6.0% is a good one

for long-term health to minimize complication risk.

To help us get acquainted, could you let us know how you are

controlling your bg's? Diet/exercise, orals, insulin or ?.

Feel free to ask any diabetes-related question that comes to you.

There are many here with a lot of experience at controlling (or not

controlling) and willing to share their knowledge.

, T2, diagnosed 4/98 (15.5%HbA1c), controlling with LC, average

fasting bg 100mg/dl, last HbA1c 5.6%

Anyway, I am currently on 20mg elavil and doing pelvic floor

me extremely tired even when taken at night.>>

Intercourse is causing acute inflammation that the Elavil isn't able to mask the pain. Maybe increasing the Elavil will help. Taking more though will probably just make you more tired. Elavil doesn't seem to work as well for women with vvs as it does for dv.

Several of us have found that using Atropine cream eliminates post sex pain. We've also had luck using the Lidocaine Cotton Ball (LCB) treatment for post sex pain too. You can find information about both in the archives.

It could be many things. I am not sure if HPV warts come and go or

not. I have had occlusion cysts (not sure if that is how it is

spelled) from Always Pads. It was tiny and caused some irritation

but the doctor gave me steroid cream and it went away. If it didn't

go away, he would have to open it to drain. It was smaller than a

pea. I stopped using Always Pads and have not had another since then.

My mom had the same thing happen to her.

Here is a site that discusses vulvar bumps:

http://www.aafp.org/afp/980401ap/hill.html including gland

infections.

The pain you have on and off could be related to your back pain.

Those areas are pretty tied in together.

I would say, relax and see if not messing with things let's it heal

up. From all the examining, you may have introduced a bacterial

infection. Best yet is to see your gynocologist or MD and have them

take a look. Maybe the cyst/bump is still there but too small for

you to see. Have yourself tested for all the infections and yeast.

Then you can relax more.
