If I could trust myself to open a whole bag of dark chocolate chips, I'd try that. ;- ] Ellen

Guest guest
Sheila, have you tried different brands? I found the ricotta at Trader Joe's was sorta lumpy and I didn't like that but the ricotta they carry at Safeway is very smooth and creamy -- the brand is called Precious -- and I really like that. What's not to like about ricotta? the flavor is almost identical with cottage cheese but it has less carbs I think. Vicki Re: I want to eat carbs............... > Hi, Vicki. Thanks for your feedback. I have tried Ricotta, but do not like it. I do have cottage cheese, and plain yogurt. I never thought to use that for anything except my breakfast meal. I will try using it to satisfy my sweet tooth. > > Yesterday, I was able to resist that urge to eat some extra, sweet carbs. I only had one Weight Watcher dessert, and stayed within my 150 carb limit. I consider that a success. For the next 21 days, I plan to read my email from this list, and post just after my breakfast meal. I understand it takes 21 days to break a negative habit. > > Thanks, again for your feedback. > > Hugs, > Sheila > > whimsy2 wrote: > Sheila, I like something sweet at the end of a meal and I've found a way > to indulge myself without causing BG damage.
