Guest guest
This is EXACTLY how it has been for my younger sister! She had endometrial tissue removed from one ovary when she was only 18 yrs old, which virtually destroyed that one ovary. The doctor told her that pregnancy would help alleviate SOME things, but, of course, she wasn't married and was just a kid at the time, so that was out of the question then. She is now turning 42, and 2 marriages later, has one little girl, only that one pregnancy, and has had a hyst a couple of yrs ago. She also had a lot of endometrial tissue removed during that surgery, but still has some around the intestines they couldn't remove. I was fortunate in that mine was not grown in that area. She's having all kinds of emotional problems like the ones that I had, but I can't get her to listen to me about having thyroid tests run. Why won't anyone listen?! Re: cervical dysplasia oh, I agree - my dr. first was only going to remove my damaged ovary - but with endometriosis so bad, I said - you know, it will just come back - he agreed. I was so relieved. of course, I still have endometrial tissue because the hormones feed it - and it couldn't all be removed because there are implants on my intestines and bladder. Still - a lot could have been thyroid related - hard to tell though - those problems started very young for me. Cris

Guest guest
, I know what you mean about them not listening. I recently tried to talk to my niece. Her GYN is giving her birth control pills for hot flashes. I tried to explain to her about bio-identical hormones. She wasn't interested at all. " This is what her doctor gave her. " It really upsets me. So I know how you feel. in Va. This is EXACTLY how it has been for my younger sister!
