Isn't there any way you can just copy and paste it onto an email to the group

instead of retyping the whole thing?

Stedman's bad word list

Hey all, we've been busy in our house today getting ready for Christmas. We

finished up our Christmas shopping this evening, then we got our tree

tonight and just got done decorating it with our very excited 5 y/o (who

picked out the perfect tree all by himself!) so I haven't had a chance to

get to re-typing the list. I will make a point to do that tomorrow and I

will post it to the list because so many people have expressed an interest

in it.

After everyone gets this list, I would really love it if anyone comes across

a word that isn't included, if they would either email me privately or post

the word to the list so we can all add it for future reference. With the

words that are on the list, I've been adding them to my PRD in case I ever

spell them the way Stedman's accepts them incorrectly, just to make sure

they never go through misspelled. :-)

Anyway, I hope you all forgive me for taking so long to get it retyped. I

will do it tomorrow!!

Can't you open it in MS Word or Wordperfect so you don't have to retype it?

Correction. That would be Ctrl V to paste in windows. Ctrl C is for copy.

Oops!!

If you are running WP 5.1 dos in a window while running under Windows you

can. Make a dos shortcut for your WP program. Right click and select

properties on the shortcut icon. Click on the Misc tab, the last one in the

row at the top of the properties window. Now where it says mouse put a

checkmark in QuickEdit. Now from within the dos window you can use your

mouse to highlight a portion of the screen and hit the Enter key on your

keyboard. It is now in the windows clipboard. Use paste or " Ctrl C " to

paste the clipboard contents into another windows program.
