I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that even though it was and will be

rough for some time that you all remember he is in a better place and no

longer in pain. God bless you and yours. Stay strong and try to continue

taking care of yourself since you will probably have to be a rock for

others. I wish you the best during this difficult time of loss.

Sincerely,

SHARON IN CA

'no mail' for a few days; bad news

FIL has developed fluid around his heart (tamponade) that is making

it difficult to function. This along with the pneumonia, gastric

bleed, and sepsis that all came from last year's nearly losing his

legs to diabetic gangrene.

He's on a morphine drip for the pain; last rites were given and he's

not expected to make it through the day.

MIL has gone home; doesn't want to be there when he dies.

I won't be online much the next few days.

I went through all this several years ago when my own father died;

know what DH is going through.

Will be 'no mail' for a few days.

Thanks to those who have send their thoughts and prayers.
