Dr. Fuchs at Duke University

I need everything you guys can share on this Dr., good and bad. I

have tried to put this off as long as I can maybe in the back of my

mind hoping it would go away.My local neuro said today that the

chiari is affecting my blood pressure and it is really low.He thinks

we should just see what happens.After talking it over with my husband

I feel I can no longer put my life in the hands of these Dr.s.My body

temperature now stay at 99.3 to 99.9.And to top it off this week I

have started to have more trouble breathing, as if there is weight on

my chest and I can't get enough air. I can deal with the headaches,

nausea,neck pain,loss of hot/cold in hand and feet,fatigue,burning

pain in arms and numbness in arms whenever I awaken, these are more

of a nuisance(spelling?) symptoms, but when it begins to attack my

heart rate,breathing, body temperature and blood pressure even I have

to draw the line.My herniation is 8mm.I also have an atlanto axial

joint disruption and tmj from a car accident.I believe that the axial

problem, which in itself is at the base of the brain, or where a

normal brain might be,could be contributing to compression of the

brain stem.Either way whatever is going has no intention of stopping

if the past four months are any indication.My baby dream is put on

hold temporaily,but it is a strong force in my desire to overcome

this chiari,to live and to enjoy life to the fullest extent

possible.I will beat this " CHIARI " or anything else that gets in the

way of my dreams.So, give me the goodie on Dr. Fuchs,lol. Keep
