I had heard that you want your numbers to be between 80 and 120 two hours

after eating.

only your dr can tell you where they want to see your BG... Mine wants to

see it under 120 2 hr after eating. Some want it to be under 140... it is

dependant on different things... I am not on medication... it is different

for those that are...

Hi Maralee,

153 two hours after eating is a good number for some people simply because no

matter what they do cannot get normal readings. For other people 153 is a

bad number. It all depends on the individual.

My doctor wants my 2 hours after eating bg's to be no more than 140. I do

get 140 and sometimes higher readings, but I set my goal at 125. Most of the

time my bg's are below 125 two hours after eating.

If your doctor has not set a goal for you, you may want to discuss this on

your next visit.

Hi Lee,

My bg's are higher one hour after eating. If they are still a little high

two hours after eating, they are back to normal within 30 more minutes.
