Guest guest
My doctor is going to test me for s disease. From my research I don't think I have it. I DO however, have Autoimmune hypothyroidism which doesn't respond (symptomatically) to thyroid hormone unless the levels are so high that my lab levels read hypERthyroid! That's the only point I feel good at. My Dr. won't leave me at that level because she says I will get almost instant osteoporosis. She says it's like being on natural speed, but physically I don't feel that at all. I just finally feel *normal*, not fatigued but not over-energized either and weight is finally coming off (and not too fast either!). The only symptoms I have of s is low blood pressure and screwed up cortisol hormone levels. My MRI'S for Chiari showed an empty sella (where the pituitary should be) so I'm sure that has something to do with all this. Could my Chiari be totally responsible for this (7-8 mm)? Does anyone else have similar problems with autoimmune disease or any idea of what this could be? I finally got Dxed with chiari and got that figured out and now this! Oh one more strange fact about me: I can't tolerate anything with wheat or wheat related...lentils etc..... I think that has something to do with the autoimmune problem because when I pull up their sites celiac/sprue wheat intolerance always pops up too. Thanks for any help, Much love, Traci ACM1, no surgery, hypothyroidism mom of Andre (15 yrs.), ACM1, cyst on brainstem, scoliosis _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
