Guest guest
I guess there will always be disagreements about the nature of " God " and spiritual forces beyond our level of understanding. Way I see it opinions polarize in three broad categories. 1, Human beings are sadly deluded to think that they are cleverer, superior, or more blessed than any other creature on this planet. You get one life, then it is big lights out. 2, We get one life, and irrespective of the duration or circumstances of that life, we are judged by a wrathful " God " and spend eternity in heaven or hell. 3, This life is one of a series of lives, in which we learn, experience and hopefully grow. Whichever category someone is in, can we not simply just follow that one simple golden rule, and just love one another and share this beautiful planet we are living on. Yes look around you, and consider this. All the elements that were needed to put man on the moon were around on this planet before the dinosaurs. Except the imagination and the will. All the elements we need to live in a world free from poverty, disease and cruelty are on this planet right now. Except the imagination and the will. Meditation / prayer / visualization will harnessw the unseen forces of creation. Practical community action will harness the will and intent. I firmly believe that we can change things, and we can change human nature, by allowing our divine natures to come to the fore. If the human race can't change human nature before it destroys itself and the planet then why try???? I personally would like to see people set aside their differences, and look at how we can each harness the spiritual forces we believe in, to really make a difference in this world. For me change begins in the only place I can make a difference - and thats me !!!! My way is not the only way, it is not a better way, just a different way. Talk to me about yours. I really want to hear. Not to be impressed, but to see life from a different position, from a different perspective.
