Ethics regarding accusations:

I was told by the Dr who wrote the Declaration against me that he " has to

believe him {child} until he is proven otherwise. "

Is this in fact the ethical requirement for a psychologist? I explained to him

that there is a difference between " taking it seriously " as in, really checking

out the situation, and " believing " as in making a judgment of the veracity.

Also: I have him on tape admitting

--that he never spoke with me before concluding and writing his declaration.

--that he never requested documentation from the father concerning his

allegations about me.

--that he has never contacted the professionals who were eye witnesses of me and

my son during the time period in question.

He has also talked with his attorney, and as of yesterday, he will no longer

tape the conversations. I suppose I will have to take a witness in next time?

Suggestions?

Liz

Ann,

I probably shouldn't be saying this but I think your grandson's birthday

has been for 4 months. Sorry I feel this way, but I am just so

depressed over all I'm going thru that I'm lately just laying the cards

on the table. My daughter forgot Fathers Day and her Grandmothers

birthday because " if she isn't getting the gifts it doesn't matter to

her " . Well her birthday is coming up. Should it matter to us?

Hi Ann,

I hope you are not even thinking about giving him any

money.

In my opinion over the next few days you need to

decide what the rules in YOUR house will be and let

him decide if he can live with them rather than the

other way around.

Didn't say it will be easy but believe me it feels so

much better to be the one in charge in your own house.

Best of luck,

Connie
