Hi LeAnne,

There is no dead pat answer to your question. For some people yes it is a

VERY debilitating disease. For others it is not. I for one am 100% disabled

because of Fibro and all it's tag alongs.

I too suffer from RLS. I refuse to try any of the new meds for it because of

the side affects. I will tell you and anyone that has RLS that you want to stay

away from any over the counter meds with Dyphenhydramine (Benidryll) in them.

That is one thing that will drive RLS crazy. Most all the PM meds (IE: Tylenol

PM. ect) has Dyphenhydramine. Motion sickness meds (Dramamine ect) are also

Dyphenhydramine. So if you are taking any over the counter meds at that time of

the month check and see if they have it in them and that could be the culprit to

your RLS. One of my precription drugs (Trazadone) causes my RLS to act up but

only mildly.

Hope that little bit of info can help you some. My RLS is the creepy crawly

type. When it flares I about go nuttso.
