Guest guest
Hi LeAnne, There is no dead pat answer to your question. For some people yes it is a VERY debilitating disease. For others it is not. I for one am 100% disabled because of Fibro and all it's tag alongs. I too suffer from RLS. I refuse to try any of the new meds for it because of the side affects. I will tell you and anyone that has RLS that you want to stay away from any over the counter meds with Dyphenhydramine (Benidryll) in them. That is one thing that will drive RLS crazy. Most all the PM meds (IE: Tylenol PM. ect) has Dyphenhydramine. Motion sickness meds (Dramamine ect) are also Dyphenhydramine. So if you are taking any over the counter meds at that time of the month check and see if they have it in them and that could be the culprit to your RLS. One of my precription drugs (Trazadone) causes my RLS to act up but only mildly. Hope that little bit of info can help you some. My RLS is the creepy crawly type. When it flares I about go nuttso.
