Guest guest
HI Everyone, You oldies and newbies *grin*, I am so honored and I want to first of all thank Lynn for doing a great job as owner and of course Ora before her, those are mighty big shoes to fill. Ora will still be here to help moderate as always and is one of our best researchers on many subjects as well. I don't expect many changes and the transition should be smooth. For those who don't know me, just briefly, I've been with the VD list since the first days it started with Heidi originally (long before we were at Yahoo) who then turned it over to Ora where I was also a moderator here. I am also the owner of the Lichen Sclerosis list just FYI. I have been very active all these years until recently when I had to take a little hiatus with a big move, a new relationship and the passing of my dad and just life 101, but you can bet I was still 'reading' and how I missed my 'lists'!. Now I'm ready to become more active again as things have settled down somewhat, but I know many of you and how you've always been so helpful and there for each other and sincerely hope that continues. I know it will. We've a wonderful group of members here and yes many with varied opinions and of course all views are welcome, but I do hope if disagreements come about that it can be discussed in a civil manner with no accusations directed personally but only on the subject matter itself. A good quote I heard during Pres. Reagans funeral was this.. ''People could argue and disagree with him but they'd still all 'break bread' afterwards " I sincerely hope we keep that in mind that we are all members in pain and even though we may debate an issue, remember it's the issue and not the person. Wishing you all the best and hope the list will be of great value to you as it has been to many before you, not only informational but also supportive, it is as valuable perhaps even more so as is the information. We know, we've been there, and we care. Warmest Regards, Dee Troll
