Guest guest
Vada - Sounds like it would be a good idea to scrape up the moeny to get to a doctor. It may just be scar tissue or a neuroma but I'd have it checked out. Also I have this little lump of like hard muscle or something just below my skin right above my scar. when I mess with it is slips down and when I push below the scar it posp back out ... but it is VERY painful. any advice appreciated. BTW I may be in better spirtis the next few days ... the guy I have been dating just returned from his vacation YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I started seeing him AFTER the RSD diagnosis .. and while he does encourage me to do what I want ( work which I got a job with my mom today so that I could have an income) he also is very over protective when I am hurting and very supportive ... so now I may be a bit more cheerful as my main num one sounding board is finally back home!!!!~Vada~
Guest guest
I think I may have been confusing in my dewscription. I don't have a lump in my breast ... the lump is just under my skin aprox 1/4 inch above my scar. but below my breast and as I said very painful. I have not worn a bra since I got home from work because of it Vada

When I got my gallbladder taken out, I only had the 4 incisions...... Well, one of the ones on my waist line does the same thing....and now that t he pain is gone out of it I can do this....but I definately wouldn't do this yourself! Let your doctor do this... What my GP told me was that it WASN'T on a scar (hmmm, WHO'S body?), but, no matter if it was or wasn't (his exact words) that all it was, is a Large Sweat Gland that went haywire. When mine gets irritated enough, it gets really, really sore, sticks out of my abdomen about 2 inches and is Black/Blue/Purplish colored. When it isn't sore....I can squeeze it....and I get some gross looking stuff out of it. Not going into detail here, as some of you might be eating breakfast while reading.... What I was told....just this past November.....by my GP the last time I could get in to see him while it was still sticking out and purple....was that there really isn't anything that can be done.....except if it did it again, get in immediately and he'd take that Pore out surgically. Hope I could be of some help! Guest guest
Vada, I hope you are feeling better at this time that I'm responding, I know I'm way behind. I just wanted to tell you that I have hard lumps beneath my skin just above my knee, however they don't move so I don't know if they are the same thing. But mine are Extremely painful to touch. They are pretty much how my RSD started aside from pain, I got little red bumps that hurt and now they are much larger. I don't know if this helps any or not but keep me posted on how you're doing.
