We're all behind you Maureen! Someone suggested this a few days back - look at your journals of the weeks you lost the most.. and maybe duplicate them. Also, exercise definitely helps. I go 4 times a week to the gym (and water aerobics) and feel cheated if I can't go! I'm only down 13 lbs, but the exercise has made amazing changes!

Hugs and good luck!

Maggie

He actually has to be in Dallas for meetings on March 18, so he decided to spend the weekend with us. The rest of us are here, but spread out.I haven't seen him since October of 2000, at our Mom's funeral, and probably close to my heaviest weight. I don't think he knows that I lost any weight (let alone 54 pounds), so this visit should be interesting! Now for the hard part. As you know, I have hit somewhat of a plateau on my weight loss, I lose and then maintain for a couple of weeks and then lose again. Well, I am here today to RECOMMIT to moving that darn scale into getting very close to my goal weight before he gets here. I have ALWAYS stayed OP, but haven't done the exercise part quite as much as I should. I have about 4 weeks to get myself moving and start losing again!! I am really hoping to be down another 6-8 pounds at least, but would really like 10.What do you think? Will I make it???Maureen

Maureen,

With your determination I'm sure you can make it! I, too have made today the day I recommit to doing this program right! I am finally back down to where I was before Christmas!

Hubby got me the exercise equipment I wanted for Valentine's Day. Now if we can find the time to get it put together, I will exercise my butt off! (pun intended!) We didn't have time this last weekend because of a huge paper he had due. Hopefully we can get it put together this weekend.

Take care!

Lois

Maureen -

WOW 54 pounds is awesome - you must feel so proud. I know you can shave off a few more before your brother arrives. I wish I could be there to see the look on his face. I hope you all have a wonderful reunion!

Hi!

I got a recumbant(sp) bike that the seat also flips up to be an ecliptic walker. I know I will love it if I can only get it put together. With my hubby working so much during the week & homework & tests on weekends I may have to wait until I'm laid off for 2 weeks in March and get my brother to come over on his day off and help me put it together.
