Hi Guys,

I've been taking the Vit C and grapeseed extract for the past few days,

and have been amazed by the effect, my skin hasn't been this good in a long

time. I don't know whether this is due solely to the Vit C and grapeseed, or

due to the fact that I've given up using regular moisturisers and am just using

jojoba oil with water. I've also just started using an Aveda foundation daily

which also contains loads of jojoba.

Anyway, I'm using a brand of Grapeseed Extract formulated in the UK, the

brand's called " Rejeuvenol " and apparently has the highest concentration of

pro-anthocyanidins available on the world market (99%). It cost me 12.99 (irish

punts) for 30 capsules, which are each only 30mg!!! I'm currently only taking

two of these daily, and two Vit C (Ester form) capsules (500mg each), which is

below what Dr. Nase recommended. This is because I am concerned about the

effects of taking really high doses of Vit C , as I recall research that was

carried out last year finding that at very high doses Vit C can go from being a

free-radical scavenger to actually acting as a pro-oxidant (i.e. causing damage

to cells/DNA etc). Does anyone have any opinions on this ????

Hi SS,

I was wondering if you could tell me the exact name of the Aveda

foundation you are using.

Thanks, Matija

P.S. I'm glad the Vit. C and grapeseed extract are working for you. I

find it's working wonders for me too.
