Guest guest
Hi Sweetie, The patches I use are large like 4 " X 6 " patches that I put on my back where it is hurting the worst. They are Lidoderm which is Lidocaine in patch form. They work very well for me. They are sticky all the way down and are thick so cushiony. They do roll up at times and I use paper tape or Solanpas around the edges of them to hold them and keep them from rolling up. I got them in Wi. and didn't have my Medicaid here for many months so I have used them very stingily. I do hope they can help you Hun. I can relate with the IV part I just don't have any veins. They have to use a baby needle on me just to start one or draw blood. You might want to ask them to use a baby needle on you it saves you a lot of grief. I can't wait to hear how it goes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this really works on most and we had a ray of hope out there. I for one would love to have the chance at it. There is a study going on here but it's not an in patient type thing. I would be interested in knowing more about the heart part of it since I have heart problems it might not be an option for me. Unless it helps the heart and it was just an added bonus that it helped the fibro. Don't know if I could stand being cooped up in a hospital for a week though. At least at home I can do as I please. Just please keep us posted on how it goes. Will they let you have your computer at the hospital? Thanks for sharing this with us and look forward to hearing from you again real soon as you are able and have something to report. God Bless! Thanks For Your Kind Words!
