Guest guest
I understand your comments on " this is the way I'm going to be forever " and " maybe I'm not meant to have sex " . I have those feelings also. My husband is this wonderful lover and I feel like he is being wasted being with me! The only thing I can say for comfort is that a man who understands what love is all about will stick with you through this and do the best he can for your fulfillment. I'm very anxious, desperate and depressed. I feel like maybe this is just the way I am going to be forever. Maybe I just not meant to have sex. It almost makes me feel disgusting, when my boyfriend has completely stopped giving me oral, he doesnt even like to really touch that area. He'll stick his you know what there, but the second we change positions he including myself are looking at his you know what for the disgusting discharge. I definitely dont think its normal because there's a lot of it. It makes having sex an being intimate stressful. I love him so much and we're so young, i would hate for this the be the cause of the end of our relationship. >
Guest guest
The more likely scenario is that you ARE meant to have sex and with proper medical treatment the discharge and vaginal dryness with go away. All you can do is be patient and persistent in finding a doctor that can help you figure out what is going on. --- Mace wrote: > > > I understand your comments on " this is the way I'm > going to be > forever " and " maybe I'm not meant to have sex " . Guest guest
, I did not get rid of that discharge until I had more estrogen circulating that progesterone. Have you had your hormones tested? I am not young, 56 and in menopause. But that thick creamy discharge was with me every step of the way until I switched to a totally different regimen of using hormone replacment therapy. Good luck Dusty -----Original Message-----From: jlo0303 Sent: Friday, November 05, 2004 9:30 AMTo: VulvarDisorders Subject: Discharge question and how do I find a specialist?Hi everyone! I have been on this list for a few months now but have not taken so much advantage of the advice. I am getting desperate though now. I am 24 and my sexual life with my boyfriend has been hitting the rocs pretty much since the start. We've been together for two years now and I had problems with my vulva since the start. Before it was recurrent cystitis and recurring yeast and sometimes bacterial infections. I have been able to control the cystitis by taking craberry supplements and I haven't gotten a vaginal infection for over 6 months. However, now I am left with lots of creamy white discharge and I am very, very dry when we have sex. I am only 24 is this normal to be so dry? I have gone to so many different ob/gyn's (3 in the last 6 months) and they tell me its not an infection but they think that I am irritated. I have decided to maybe go to someone that specializes in VVD because supposedly, these patients get similar discarge. HOW CAN I FIND A SPECIALIST IN MIAMI, FLORIDA????? Please any advice or help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!*****END OF MESSAGE/REMOVE WHEN REPLYING*****http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisordersto search our archive or view our files.***
Guest guest
It does sound hormonally based. I don't understand what the gynos mean when they tell me I'm atrophic and dry. How can I be " dry " when I have tons of discharge? To me, the problem seems like too much MOISTURE, and that my vulvar skin is being eroded by constant discharge. Dusty, I know what works for one may not work for another, but, if I may ask, what regimen (type and amount) of estrogen/progesterone are you on that finally got rid of the discharge?
