Hi ,

CONGRATULATIONS...Nov 1st is so soon(not really, considering all the

other waiting).

I had planned on attending Dr. Rabkin's meeting last night but had a

pet emergency and did not get to go. Are the meetings every Wed?

I have been asking to advise of my date and she is not

answering my email. Have you done all your preop tests? She has me

scheduled Monday, Oct 9 at 9am to start with blood, urine & at 10 am

to stress test in cardiology. Do you think I will be done by noon?

Also, I was planning on going by myself but I'm worried whether any

of the tests require medication where I would need someone to drive.

Tuesday is 9am for part II of cardiology test. I thought I might be

done around noon again. I am trying to use as little sick leave time

as possible so I can coordinate with SDI for pay while off.

What was you impression of these preop tests? Wednesday I will have

US (ultra sound?), UGI (upper GI) & CXR (?). I did have an upper GI

years ago and if US is ulta sound I have had that before. I have no

idea what CXR is.

Again, congratulations on your date. Since I live in South Oxnard

also (on C St across from Hueneme High), let me know if there is

anything I could do to help? My email address is SAPRATZ@...

Talk to you soon.

---It appears you and I were there for tests the same three days.

How did your tests go? Mine seemed to go well. Please let me know

when you get a date!

Thanks! Holly

my pre-op testing was all done in one day, July 17, 2000. It took

all day from 0730 to 1630 (that's 7:30 am to 4:30 pm to all you

civilians out there). Some people have more tests done depending, I

guess on the individual. The tredmill takes a whole day by itself,

but I had the drug induced heart stress test.
