Guest guest
I am rarely out of Zoloft. I have learned with this line of drugs that I cannot discontinue them completely though. It sends me into orbit. I have a fibro flare from hell, cant hardly put sentences together, hurt severely all over and the fog gets really bad to where I can hardly put any thoughts together. This would start if I was of it for about a week. It would progressively get worse. I never skip a dose for more than 1 day. I miss one sometimes. It really gets me after a few days though. Almost like withdrawal symptoms. thanks Debra Zimmy wrote: > Annie I know what you mean. I was actually out of Zoloft for about > 2 days. I did not realize it really helped much. I don't know about Zoloft, but I know that Prozac has a long half- life. I had the bright idea in August to decrease the amount that I was taking by 1/4. Two weeks later I was dragging around with my nose in the carpet. I went back up, and it took another two weeks to get to feeling back to where I was before my bright idea. It might be worth looking into how quickly Zoloft bloodstream levels are depleted. You can then predict when, if you run out, you'll be feeling awful and plan accordingly. It really does make a difference to realize that this isn't depression out of the blue, but the result of a dip in the level of medication in your bloodstream. You can kind of go " Oh, it's just a dip in the Zoloft level " , and just wait it out.
