Guest guest
a quick comment... I, too, take a low-level dose of an antidepressant, Cymbalta, and it helps with serotonin and nerve pain. I have a lot of neurological problems and the Cymbalta has been helping a lot. I was on Neurontin, a big dose, for about 2 1/2 years but it made me fall asleep early in the day. I then took Provigil to stay awake at my desk... Now, I'm off the Neurontin. My nerve pains have gotten less nasty. And I take Provigil only here and there.. Just checking in with you vis-a-vis the antidepressant. Considering the part the Vegus nerve plays in many of our issues, it's good that an antidepressant can help with several of them, namely nerve pain and the consequent depressions associated with them.
