Guest guest
Hey guys... On January 18th, I had my decompression. It took 3 and 1/2 hours. And I am doing wonderfully! First two days after, I felt like I had been hit by a mack truck, and now I'm home. Stitches out, and beginning to regain feeling in my left hand! YAY! Hopefully all went well! I have to go in a a few weeks for another MRI to check the syrinx to see if it's deflating then, we go from there! My head stil feels funny...a little heavy almost...I suspect that will alleviate as I heal. I have noticed that the crown of my head is all tingly and numb-like. The NS says that may or may not go away, because they had to cut through some nerves in order to do the decompression. But all in all I feel great! I'll keep ya posted!
