Hugs, pseudoephedrine and chiari > Hello all, > > Just curious...does anyone have a rough time taking pseudoephedrine (a decongestant) for colds/allergies, etc. with their chiari? I don't seem to have a problem...it actually gives me increased energy, but I was wondering if maybe I should lay off of it. > Also, prior to being dx with chiari, I was told I had food allergies and possible candidiasis (I have a yeast allergy). I went on a special diet, and all it did was decrease my indigestion and head stuffiness. The fatigue still stayed put. Now that I know what causes my fatigue, I eat whatever I want! > > Elena > > Help section: http://www.yahoogroups.com/help/ > > NOTE: NCC refers to posts with No Chiari Content > > To Unsubscribe Yourself: chiari-unsubscribeYahoogroups > > WACMA Home: www.pressenter.com/~wacma > > WACMA List: www.eGroups.com/group/chiari > > >
Guest guest
Hi, pseudoephedrine sends me over the edge! I can't even take an adult dose of it because I feel like things are crawling in my hair and then I fall asleep.~~Patrice --- Ethd26@... wrote: > Hello all, > > Just curious...does anyone have a rough time > taking pseudoephedrine (a decongestant) for > colds/allergies, etc. with their chiari? Guest guest
Funny you should ask. I'm in the midst of a nasty head cold right now, and the first day I took a Sudafed, and boy was I sorry! I was so spaced out, but couldn't sleep. My heart was racing. It was the strangest feeling. Then I remembered I had this medication that my doctor prescribed for me called DA chewables. It's actually a children's medication that he gave me, since pseudoephedrine effects me so badly. It worked some, I guess.
