That's the impression I get as well - but I was going to bounce my doc's response off the women in the Board and find out for sure. > > > 4. Do you use a post-op uterine balloon? Some docs use an uterine balloon for a week or so after the procedure to help prevent adhesions. Similar to that of the hormones, the jury is out as to whether this actually is necessary. I seem to remember a post several weeks back that the extraction of the balloon was rather painful...but I may be wrong. Anyone want to chime in on that one? I'd prefer to go without unless my doc feels strongly otherwise. > > On a side note, what kind of Christian Board are you on? What do > you do on the Board? Is it through your church? In the miliary communities, they have a non-denominational women's group call PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) - althought the one at West Point includes non-Protestants as well (Catholics, etc.). It's overseen by one of the installation chaplains but is run by 20 volunteer board members. I organize what's called a Sonshine Ministry whereby we minister to other women through providing meals...either when they bring home a new baby (...that's taken on a new flavor since having the m/c), have surgery, or lose a family member. We also perform hospital visits while people are admitted to help lift their spirits. If you've even spent more than one night in the hopsital, you'll agree that it absolutely SUCKS!!! So, you can say the ministry supports women during and after hospital stays. My appt. is at 2:45 this afternoon...so I've got to jet and get ready. I still have some copies to make of bloodwork from my other outpt files for this doc. And thanks for the prayers! Take care!
