Hi,

Soma has codeine and aspirin in it and is considered a controlled substance.

I've found that it is the only thing that works for me. Soma has also been

found to interrupt the brain's pain impulses as well as being a muscle

relaxer.

Try and continue to get it if you can - it's ridiculous when you finally

find a medication that works " for you " and then be forced to go back on the drug

merry-go-round because of the medical society's misplaced definition of

" addiction " .

Good luck!

Chris

HI

According to my nursing drug book there are two different forms of

Soma, one with codeine and one without. The one my rheum gave me

didn't have codeine in it. He doesn't give me that or even hydocodone

yet. Good to know it does have aspirin in it.

It has aspirin in it? I’m glad I’m not taking it since I’m on blood

thinners.
