Guest guest
Tami, The genitofemoral nerve is a branch of the main nerve called the femoral nerve. The femoral nerve runs from the L5 area of the spine and down the leg and then it's side branch goes toward the top of the vulva. If they give the block in that area of your spine instead of straight in to the vulva then they may be able to do it for you. As for the sacral and pudenal nerves they run from the lower part of the back and take in to account not only the lower part of the vulva (this is the case with the pudenal nerve) but with the sacral nerves they also go toward the bladder and some other areas. Let me know if you need a pic of this area and I'll scan it and send it to you. Just e-mail me directly to let me know that you want to see the pic. As for the water therapy that's a good idea Dusty gave you. There was an article done in Time Magazine about back pain and the different ways to treat it. I wish I could remember the date of it right now but the article was fantastic. Take care hun and know that you are in my thoughts, and when you do get that new MRI done make sure the report from the radiologist gets in to the hand of the dr so that he can read it. Guest guest
Sorry to hear about your Mom. At least you are there with her. I will keep y'all in my prayers. I hope things improve for y'all very soon. Hugs, Kristy Sokoloski wrote: , I'm always up at this hour because some of my pain issues are better at this hour. Sorry that the pain keeps waking you up. What's the status on your situation with meds? I'm sorry I've not been around much to talk but that's in part not only because of my fibro but also because of taking care of my mom who had surgery almost 3 weeks ago for breast cancer.
