Guest guest
Hello all I am new to the list ..but not new to ACM...diagnosed in 1986...my case is very mild and insignificant compared to what I have been reading on the list. My only major consequence is " cough/laugh " syndrome which results in unbearable burst headaches that last 30-40 seconds and then dissipate...occassionally strain will bring them on....unless things get worse I would not consider surgery. QUESTION -In the last five years I have had two episodes of transient global amnesia (TGA)...during the event you are self aware and respond almost normally to people, but you absolutely do not lay down any short term memory, what happened a minute ago you do not recall...mine have lasted about an hour or two and I have never regained memory from those times...has anyone had similar events?
