Guest guest
Well Deb, certainly let him know. And I did not realize Neurontin was suppose to help muscle spasms? Is it? I wish something would help. My flexeril seems to help some when I have that problem. I have heard that Soma is pretty good. I hope you feel better. love Debra deebs87 wrote: My rhuem changed me from Soma to Neurontin early this year because I wasn't sleeping good. The 100mg Neurontin I take during the day does little for my spasms like in my flare Sun-Wed this week. Wish I could still take the Soma for my spasms. Next time I see him, I will tell him this. Took the 100mg earlier but my spastic shoulder is no better. Debbie __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Yes I agree. it does work better. I get rls with Flexeril. Anyone else? Lately I have been using Pamelor and I am amazed by the pain relief qualities. It works wonders on bad days. Get a bit sleepy on it, but probably cause I am so relaxed. I am so glad I decided to try it. Hugs, DebiAC012553@... wrote: In a message dated 11/8/2007 4:58:42 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, ladybug75901@... writes: I have heard that Soma is pretty good. Guest guest
Thanks Deb. Neurnontin is supposed to help with muscle spasms. Probably should take the 300mg during the day instead of the 100mg one. The Soma worked much better though. love, Debbie J > > Well Deb, certainly let him know. Guest guest
Morning Group. Gountback here; I myself have been on Neurotin for 6yrs now. I have never heard of it being used for a sleep aid. It, as far as I know, is used for pain relief. Your Doctor might have thought that it wiil decrease your pain so it would be easier for you to achive natural sleep patterens. I don't know what he thinks. I don't give advice, I just state what it is to me. Good Luck, Love Gountback.
Guest guest
Debbie, from what I understand, these are two different kinds of meds. The Soma is a muscle relaxer, and Neurontin is a siezure type medicine for blocking pain signals. I don't understand why you can't be on both. For me personally, I couldn't handle the Neurontin, too much brain fog, I think. Hope you get your Soma back. Jeanne in WI sad that I miss my Soma My rhuem changed me from Soma to Neurontin early this year because I wasn't sleeping good. The 100mg Neurontin I take during the day does little for my spasms like in my flare Sun-Wed this week. Wish I could still take the Soma for my spasms. Next time I see him, I will tell him this. Took the 100mg earlier but my spastic shoulder is no better. Debbie
