Guest guest
I neglected to mention that one of the things I like best about the Radio Shack headset that I have is the fact that the cord on it is spiral like a phone cord which keeps it from getting all tangled up, but you still have quite a nice distance of " leash. " Any previous headets I had with the straight cords ended up all knotted up and that's not good for the wiring. Sorry I forgot to mention that earlier.... old age strikes again. :/ Jan " Typing is my life " (said sarcastically) Remember... WSTPMTR (which means, whoever signs the paycheck makes the rules). Guest guest
I got a pair of cordless headsets at Wal-Mart for around $30. Big foam cushions, can hardly hear anything with those things on! My hubby always knows when I'm working without looking at me cuz he says something and I'm constantly hollering " What? WHAT?? " hehehe They're made by Cyber Labs and I love them. They're compatible with anything that has a standard headset jack and no more turning away from your desk and wrenching your ears off because you forgot your headset has a leash. :-) Diane headset > I know we've had this discussion before, but I wasn't having trouble at that time, so really don't remember. > > Is there a headset out there that will also filter background noise? Guest guest
Several of you have mentioned using the earmuff type headset and I have just one question for you. Do any of you wear glasses and, if so, do these headsets bother you? I remember flying with hubby one day and the headset giving me a headache for a couple of day due to pressing my sunglasses into my head. I'm sure this headset was a bit more padded/protective due to having to block out the loud engine noise, but am wondering cause I don't need any help getting a headache and I'd love to have this type of headset, especially the cordless one. THANKS for the info!! -
Guest guest
Hello Transcribeit2@..., In reference to your comment: è Do any of you wear glasses and, if so, do these è headsets bother you? Yes I wear glasses, and no, the ones I got from Radio Shack don't bother me, partly because of how padded they are, and partly because the headset is adjustable. They are extremely comfortable. Guest guest
I've had this headset from Radio Shack that I mentioned before for quite some time now and it is working great. I never had good luck with Koss headphones.. they always broke pretty quickly. Jan " Typing is my life " (said sarcastically) Remember... Guest guest
Nope, they're in stereo and they have great sound. They have the dual ear controls so if one side seems louder than the other, you can remedy that with the seperate controls, which is great because I can hear better out of one ear than the other and, when I wear regular headsets, the volume is up high enough for one ear and practically deafening in the other and it gives me an awful headache. I bought a Koss headset the other day, but only sound in one ear - not good for me. I need it in stereo! LOL
Guest guest
I'll second that, Jan. I purchased a Radio Shack headset earlier this summer (July, I think) at your recommendation and have had no problems with it. > I've had this headset from Radio Shack that I mentioned before for quite some > time now and it is working great.
