The Hillsborough County Financial Fitness Fair is a public

forum to educate and assist low income persons with disabilities in

Hillsborough County with Financial Education, asset building strategies,

free tax preparation and filing assistance.

The Hillsborough County Financial Fitness Fair will take

place on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hillsborough

Community College, Dale Mabry Campus, Social Sciences Bldg., 4001 Tampa

Bay Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33614.

Speakers at the forum will include: Anika Coney,

Coordinator for the Prosperity Campaign of Hillsborough; Niurka rio

and Ware, Education Coordinators National Foundation for Debt

Management; R. Roush, National Disability Institute, Inc.;

e , Senior Tax Consultant, SPEC – IRS;; Judy Blair,

Community Work Incentives Coordinator, Abilities of Florida Work

Incentives Planning and Assistance Program; Victor Panoff, Senior

Advocate, Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities; Hill,

WorkForce Alliance; Florida Department of Financial Services

representatives from the Financial Stability Initiatives at United Way Of

their allocated monthly budgets. People on CDC + can hire family members

and buy their diapers at Walmart. APD hopes to enroll 5,000 people in the

next two years.
