Guest guest
I was just posting to let everyone know I got clearance from my surgeon at my 1 yr. post-op check-up (Nov.27). He said I was doing great and there was no reason to wait any longer. (I had my surgery Dec. 8, 1999. I was 234lbs. and I am now 130 lbs.) I then called my OB-GYN and got the 2nd okay. So, I stopped taking my b.c. pills and picked up and ovulation test kit. She said there was no reason to wait as long as I kept up with my ovulation cycle. Amazingly the test shows that I actually ovulated after a week and 1/2 w/o the pills. This is the first time we have tried for a second child. We have one child (10yr./girl). We are excited and hopeful. The doctors seem to think I will be fine. I had no post-op complications and everything is great;like blood sugar and blood pressure. I am concerned about my food choices being the best they can. I am going through nutra-sweet withdrawal!!!!! I'll survive. Any suggestions? I am so thankful that there is a place where someone knows and understands what I am going through. I will keep everyone posted if a miracle takes place and I am pregnant. My husband is excited too. Although, I think he is feeling a little bit under pressure; after all when the test says it's time to try- IT'S TIME!!! (LOL) God's blessings to " ya'll " from Tennessee and Happy Holidays!
