Guest guest
Hell-o everyone, I've been catching up on e-mails again, and also though I would update everyone about Trey. If you recall, he had to take blood tests last week for celiac disease. They were abnormal, so now he is scheduled for biopsies of his small intestine. I've been researching for hours about this disease. I had never heard of RSS or celiac disease. Wow, what next? (my daughter, mother of Trey)is falling apart emotionally. However, she did take a positive step by e-mailing Dr. Harbison to see if she would look at Trey if she goes to the convention. She got a very kind e-mail from her. got the papers to fill out from the state for funding the trip. Thank you, , for that information. What would we do without this group? I hope so much that will be able to meet some of you in Chicago. It seems that there are several surgeries scheduled for this group. I pray that all goes well for the children and that Max recovers quickly. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Grandma : Thank you for mentioning Max in your prayers. I am just beside myself because I don't know what to do with him anymore. I have a student with celiac disease. He is actually doing quite well, although it is hard for him because he cannot eat what others eat. He much eat cookies made from nut flour, for example. It is a lot of work for his mother, but he is thriving and happy. I hope you find out what is going on with Trey very soon. I certainly understand the concerns, fear and frustrations. Guest guest
Hi , Back when was being tested for Celiac Disease, I scoured the web. Here is one website I found: " Celiac Disease: A guide for children and their parents " http://www.naspgn.org/disease%5Finformation.htm Lots of luck, Katy
