Guest guest
Welcome , Hey I was 17 once, so this will be short. The transition from high school to college with CMT for me was good. College gave me more time to rest and wasn't so scheduled by the clock like high school. That helped alot.Classes had more space between them so I could rest, or read, do homework, or get to know new friends. We have a few others your age in our group, so you all will come out and say hello, yes? Now, we have pictures at ! Go to then click on members folder #1 or #2 I have some pictures of myself in there, there are many others pictures there too. Other than my short, wide, curly-toed feet, I think I look like a regular person. If you want to see more pics of me, just email directly (no vanity problem here lol) You will do fine in college. Change can be hard for anyone. I did a number of things to prepare for it, like visiting the dorms first, meeting with professors before I'd registered, etc. Moving in early, etc. Talking to the medical staff about my CMT and needs, etc. I can tell you more if you want. The campus was relatively small, but too far to walk - I rode my bike everywhere. The campus was very flat and I remember then there were 2 guys using scooters then (it was 1970) ! We will get you TO and through college! Have no fear! There's probably alot of other positive college experiences amongst out members too. So, everyone, speak up about this! To this day my college experiences are some of my most treasured! And , I love your email address! ~ Gretchen
