Hey ,

I just wrote a long reply and lost it....sigh..... I really don't have any

stuff to send you. Since I've been forced to become an internet medical

detective by this stupid disorder - the medical community's answer's suck - I

have really learned a lot of stuff about fibro. But I couldn't spell food

allergy two days ago - I'm like many of you guys - learning as we find our way

through this fog. I get so excited when I read some new theory or wrinkle

about

fibro that I post it here - it gives me hope to read such articles. Hope

that maybe, this disorder is not " incurable " after all.

I'll check with my doctor about the food allergy testing on Tuesday. I know

that she uses the blood testing. And with the elimination , you can really

start with just a few foods - the ones that you might suspect. I got lucky

with the wheat - but I'm sure that they'll find others - I was one of the life

long " picky " eaters and no matter what, could never lose weight - I do feel

like I've been starving though..

i am sorting through the posts and trying to understand about the

food. my PA said it is the Ig antibodies and it gets so technical and

am busy trying to understand other issues and read all i can and try

to absorb it all. some reactions to food can take as long as 4 days

to appear so that is why you do one food type elimination at a time.

i am interested in learning more and see if there is a connection i

have many of the symptoms and have had some of the symptoms over 10

yrs. please send me any info you have that will help me in this food

allergy.

thank you
