Guest guest
Almost every day now Tanner is being tested for what Kindergarten class he's in for next year. I was 5 minutes late today picking up Tanner from testing so I just walked, and the testing was not quite done -last page. They were going over pictures from this book -It probably wasn't the same one -but it looked suspiciously just like the book used the last time Tanner was tested for speech, and even then they seemed really strange. There was one drawing of a knife and one of a gun, and one of a hand just floating like it was cut off. They still had a picture of the old dial telephone and old toaster. Tanner (and probably most kids) would know a computer and a cell phone -you know -stuff most people use today in 2002. I'll say something once I hear the results -I didn't want to comment in front of Tanner. I guess someone believes our kid's intelligence should be judged on how often they attend antique shows. Who makes this stuff up? Would someone please update these tests and use a better artist or use photos? If these tests need to be with drawings -maybe hire an artist from Disney or Nickelodeon (I know a few of them and most of them know that guns and knifes and floating cut off hands are not preschool kid friendly) Anyone else go through this? =====
