Hi :

I don't want to be an alarmist - BUT, you really have to watch your

consumption of Nutrasweet while you are pregnant. My little one is two, but

I read some very frightening things about Nutrasweet and fetal brain

development when I was carrying her.

Blessings to you! All my wishes for a joyous and uneventful pregnancy.

With love,

Sara

Can you elaborate on the article or give us the reference. I use a lot of

the stuff and am worried about this.

Hi Lenore:

Like I said, I don't want to scare anyone - BUT, why take chances if you

don't have to? You can start out at www.holisticmed.com/aspartame/

There are quite a few articles there. After that, you can just type

'Nutrasweet and pregnancy' into your browser and see what comes up. I found

a ton of stuff - most of it tooting the FDA's party line that up to two

servings a day of Nutrasweet should be fine. But they said that about

saccahrin too......

I am sorry if I am alarming anyone, but I get upset that most OB's and even

some midwives don't tell their patients this information.

And no, I am not a nutty fruity freak. I am a normal eating person who

doesn't always believe everything the medical establishment tells me :)

Best wishes to all

Sara
