Guest guest
Just to make you feel better, I turn 47 this Friday and I do *not* feel old! Well, okay...maybe my body does now and then... *cough cough* Rennie ----- Original Message ----- You ladies are so inspiring!!!! And here I was being annoyed about being sooo close to 50, and noting all the changes that come with that, physical changes you know. So, we all look in the mirror and wonder why an 18 year old isn't looking back at us because that's how we feel? Well, okay, lets say a 30 year old! I love knowing that everyone out there isn't younger than I am. It inspires me!
Guest guest
OK, better jump in with the big admission - 6 months 'til I hit 50!! Personally, I can't wait to get my monthly issue from AARP (and card!). The husband says I look better every day. Hmmm ............ he must *need* something, and I can only guess it's $$$$ or maybe a home-cooked meal!!! I'm actually " back in school " at the moment as I'm now finding the home-study course I took a couple years ago was not, in retrospect, quite as comprehensive as it could have been. So, I've decided to take a second course - just received my study materials. I still have my 3 accounts, and it's difficult to find the time ... little by little tho'. Guest guest
, Age has its benefits, with my AARP card I have saved quite a bit of money on hotels, car rentals, etc. OMG, I sound like a commercial. What classes are you taking? Watt wrote: > OK, better jump in with the big admission - 6 months 'til I hit 50!! > Personally, I can't wait to get my monthly issue from AARP (and card!). Guest guest
Why, thanky, . I still feel like a sweet young thang. <GG> I think I am a still a child at heart. Guest guest
I am so glad this topic has come up. I had a hysterectomy a month ago, and it's like I've been given a second life. I feel great!! I have always suffered from cramping and PMS but it got SO much worse with age. Now that's all gone as well as the monthly routine (which was lasting up to three or four months with me--that's why the hysterectomy). I'm 42 now and feel better than I have in years. Forget growing old! Re: Aging Was: Bextra???? Why, thanky, . I still feel like a sweet young thang. <GG> I think I am a still a child at heart. Guest guest
, I know exactly what you mean, I had my hysterectomy a couple of years back and I feel wonderful. No more periods, no more cramps, and no more PMS. Hurrah, which is another reason for celebrating age, that usually does not happen to the young folk. Age (that nasty word) does not belong in my vocabulary. Conerly wrote: > I am so glad this topic has come up. I had a hysterectomy a month ago, and it's like I've been given a second life.
