Guest guest
Hi everyone, my name is Angie and I am 37 yrs old. I was diagnosed with type 2 in November 2003. So far I have been to the dietian and learned about carbs and how to eat better. I am doing so so with that. I am trying I can at least say that. Its not the easiest thing. I have also been to the eye doctor because my eyes got really blurry it seemed right after I was diagnosed to the point I could not read. Really scary. My retinas were fine but sugar was real high and they said that was the reason. Now for the reason for this post. Even before I was told I had diabetes the bottems of my feet were stinging at night like somthing was biting them. I tried lotions, everything. I was going crazy. Since I have been diagnosed and told the doctor about it he said its the nerves in my feet?Since I started watching my sugar which still is not under control its gotten a little better.I had my doctor make a referral appointment today. I thought it would be for a podatrist but he made it for a nuroligest? Any suggestions on questions to ask while I am there? I have learned a lot from reading all your posts. All very helpful. Hugs, Angie
