Guest guest
Hi Shirley, Thanks for filling me in on what pain you have and what you do for it. Hot bath sounds very nice. Since I live in central Texas it's hot here often so the bath doesn't sound good then. I did try my gym's hot tub and that was nice. What is the green tea diet? Even though I exercise every day and watch what I eat, I don't loose weight. Since I injured my piriformis muscle in my butt I have gained a few lbs. I don't mind telling about my thyroid surgery since hypothyroidism is common for fibro patients. In 1994 I learn I had hypothyroidism and was put on Synthroid. Last year during a check up my menopause doc said my thyroid gland felt much larger. A ultrasound showed I had a large growing nodule on my thyroid. The gland was removed July 5 last year. A week later I was told the nodule was full of thyroid cancer. This year my body scan was negative for thyroid cancer (thyca). In addition to be surgery I was in the hospital 2x for low calcium which is often a side effect of thyroid surgery. Parathyroids control calcium. The tiny glands are inbedded around the thyroid gland. Surgery shocked them so they aren't working yet. All the hospital visits aggravated my fibro symptoms. It was a rough year. warm hugs, Debbie J
