Looking for a better honey

I've noticed that the honey I buy at the end of summer/into fall is

harsher tasting than what I can buy in the spring. (I buy a " pure

raw " local clover honey and I'm using the same brand so I assume it's

the source of the pollen that changes with the season.)

I just made some pecan brittle last weekend and noticed that the

honey seemed to start to burn faster than it did last year.

Anyone have suggestions?

BTW - I am so glad to 'find' the group. I changed email/computer/job

in August and when I tried to sign onto the old group a few months

later --it seemed to have disappeared. Lucy Rosset pointed me in the

right direction.

Incidentally, after 2 1/2 years on the diet, I can now eat dairy

(yoghurt & cheese) and eggs. A whole new world has opened up for me.

My healing has been slow -- maybe because I'm older (60) but what a

remarkable difference!

Honey for SCD should be filtered and clear with no indication of bee pollen.

Here in Canada a suitable and popular brand is made by Bee. They also ship

to the U.S.
