Guest guest
You'll have seen my email re visit to Dr Stanhope. None of this progress would have been made if it wasn't for the advice that you gave me in June, for this list and the members. Many, many thanks to all of you. And hey, big kisses to all the kids! Dad to , 3 1/2, 21 lbs, 88 (89.5) cm, " mild " rss, (although not mild enough to be in the 10% of disomy stats), Dr Stanhope reckons looks like he might get almost to 50th percentile on GHT, !!, [i'd better qualify that - I'm 6'4, Barbara's 5'10], assymetry of lower limbs only, can flatten hands (apparently inability to do so is present in some rss kids from birth- it's either there or will never be; reference Dr Price). Guest guest
: Hi, again, just thought I'd tell you that my son, , will be 3 this December and at present time weighs approximately 21 pounds and is approximately 31 inches. The reason for approximates is that we go to the Endocrinologist in a couple of weeks and don't have any real recent measurements. We are hoping my husband's side of the family will help in 's final adult height. My husband is 6' (shortest of his family) and I think I'm pretty average at 5'4 " . We plan on doing the growth hormone, but don't know when. is actually looking very pudgy and seems to not be doing well on growing in height so we may be headed to gh very soon. had a bone age study done last April and his was that of a " NEWBORN " !!!! Can you believe that. I guess that was good news. We had an informal gh test and part of the test turned out slightly low (whatever that means!) Like I said, it was informal so I don't go by that too much. has assemetry and has a shoe lift (1/4 " ). You say that it doesn't get worse? I hope you are right. Also, what were you saying about not being able to flatten their hands??? Never heard of that. Thanks, again, for all your input and information.
