Hi all,

I am so impressed!!! I got a call straight from the Dr. Boggan at UC

today!! I had an important questions to ask about his procedures with

decompression surgery. Wouldn't you know I went into Mcs with my kids

today for 15 minutes and left my cell phone in the car. Yes, you got it, he

called in that 15 minutes!! He had also left me a message at home. I'm really

impressed because he is a real busy man. I also only called yesturday and

didn't expect a call for a week because of how busy they said he was. He also

has given my PCP here in Reno a letter for my referral since he is outside my

insurance plan. Still working on that.

Anyways, I called back (he gave me his direct #) and he was in a meeting but

the assistant who answered could answer my question. She said he feels it's not

necessary to do anything to the tonsils once the decompression is done.

Can anyone give me some input on this issue. How many people who have had

surgery didn't have their tonsils lazered (or whatever it's called) and the

sucess of that. How many people did have their tonsils lazered and the sucess

of that.

Also, about the " opening of the dura " . It just seems to me that procedure

is a must with decompression. I'm to tired to look it up on the internet. Can

someone explain this for me.

I just want to make the right decision. I have alot of faith in Dr. Boggan,

as he is a specialist in this area. Just wanted some opinions. Glad your all

here to ask.

Thanks!
