Guest guest Posted June 15, 2006 Report Share Posted June 15, 2006 Hi there, I am Trish and I am new to WLS, and this board. I had my initial consultation at the Barix Clinic in Langhorne, PA. I also have attended a Pre-op Support group meeting there. I have some of my medical clearances but am waiting for the psych eval to be done by my psychiatrist and to have the sleep studies done. My insurance has already approved the surgery and will pay 100%. My family is pretty supportive, except my sister wants me to have it done at a teaching hospital in Philly, rather than the Bariatric Hospital. She is afraid I will die from complications. I told her I could die driving down the interstate on the way to work. I just wanted to introduce myself. I look forward to being on the Losers' side of things soon.
