Guest guest
I have read several articles that suggest fiboro-mites might be sensitive to the following foods: wheat, citrus, dairy and corn. I have read that we should try cutting them all out of our diet. I haven't done so so far, except most dairy which makes my IBS worse. Has anyone else heard this? Peace and Love Caroline PS..Altho I take Celexa and Lamictal, I get best pain relief from Oxycodone. Would your doctor not prescribe that for you as well? There are also many reports which say that opiates are still best for pain relief. I have been taking them off and on for years, have never had 'withdrawal' from quitting them. Pain sucks!. OTCs taken too frequently are far more dangerous than opiates. I don't know why so many doctors undertreat our pain so badly, seeing that it is probably the main reason for most of our other symptoms. > > Have had fibro 3 years been treating ti OTC for my PCP yes Ihave pain > and no i willtreat it. Guest guest
Im allergic to corn. I can eat it but the corn outside gets me. I took elavil. It helped some but watch your weight as I had to get off I gained too much too fast. I started flexeril a muscle relaxer. Now I have been lucky I had felt pretty good and our weather really throws me. I find if I make myself walk it helps. I work ea day but if I sit too long I feel worse so I walk all I can. Lactose is a milk sugar which can upset our systems with it if we are intolerant to it. Lactose intolerance is common for fibromites. I have it, too. Guest guest
I can't do dairy at all. Wheat I have to be careful not to have too much. Other than that the rest doesn't bother me. Guest guest
not everyone has such drastic side effects to elavil Mark. I have been on it for 6 years and the worst symptom i've ever experienced is dry mouth. and as my previous boyfriend can attest it definately never affected my libido, lol although i'm sure he wished it would sometimes. lisa n.
