Guest guest
During my twenties, when I was eating anything I wanted, I got what they thought was yeast, etc. and was treated with all sorts of stuff on and off for several years. It would come and go. Nothing seemed to correlate with what I was doing, etc. Finally, one morning at my doctor's when I was complaining how it had returned with a vengence that morning with horrible itching, burning.... he said " what did you eat last nite? Hamburger, spahgetti, something regular. " Did you have a snack during watching tv? Yes, I ate a bag of Hersheys Kisses... At that point he told me to stay away from sugar completely. I did so for 2 years, and then after that found that I could eat a little once every couple of weeks. Anymore and I was right back where I started. Gradually over a year or so, I added a little more each week and finally it stopped bothering me. He said it was the excess sugar spilling over into my system. Supposedly he knew I was hypoglycemic, but can't really remember if it had been diagnosed yet. At any rate, it is a thought to keep in mind.
