IMHO the " Carb Blocker " pills are just a scam to separate us from our $$$$. If

you notice they are herbal supplements which the US FDA does not regulate. If

it was sor good the major drug companies would have it. I have found some

herbal stuff really plays heck with my glucose levels.

I strongly doubt it will work, but if it does, it might be helpful to have

on hand for occasional use. My only concern is that if it *does* work, we

have to see if it interfers with absorption of medications -- not

necessarily for diabetes, but I take several other things for various

conditions.

Have asked three. They don't know anything about them, nor did they agree

to research them for me.

That's my guess, too.

I am not a fan of the FDA, so that's not a deterrent to me, LOL!

Maybe. On the other hand, there are times when the major drug companies

pick up herbal supplements and alternative therapies after there has been

some market interest in the product.

I would suggest finding a naturopath, often available at health food

stores. They are more familiar with the science behind natural

treatments.
