Guest guest
Very true! They didn't have much to say on BPD but it still helped to know how others got thru and are still going thru life with a mentally ill loved one. They are learning more about BPD every day. I hope to be able to help with that knowledge. Who knows...maybe I can put together a class about BPD. Guest guest
I second that. When I contacted them doors started to open and people started to understand what I was going through. Although it has only been a short time since I first contacted them I have already been to a support group, had my 15 yo daughter evaluated, entered into a treatment program and got an emergency pyschiatric number that I could call and a procedure to follow should she become violent again. They also have an intensive 12 week training program for the families of mentally ill children which I am investigating.
