I just went to see a new dr and she said I have Neuroma. Has anyone heard of this? she prescribed Lyrica ( I have been on Neurontin for over 2 years) but she wants to try this new drug. She also wants to do shots...please let me know if anyone has heard of this or knowa anything about this. I had pudental nerve blocks before with no good results Thank you ZAturnpiketramp wrote: I like them both together. Guest guest
May I ask if either of them gave you sexual side effects? I thought the cymbalta totally eliminated orgasm and drive. Guest guest
Dear Anne, I have been on lyrica for about a month and half and I hate to jinx myself, but I am seeing results. Yet, I mind I can't have an orgasm on my own. Currently I'm not involved with anyone, I don't know if that would be different. I do still have a sex drive. I'm seeing a new doctor on Wednesday to get the dirt. I believe the higher the dosage to dull the area, the less sensitivity I feel. For the meantime, I will stay on the dosage that's working on my pain symptoms. Hoping for it all one day, Hillary --- Anne wrote: > May I ask if either of them gave you sexual side > effects? Guest guest
Hi Annmarie, I too had severe side effects when I took Lyrica. Also, it really never helped my pain. Unfortunately, whenever someone in group says how great they feel since taking Lyrica, I think " maybe I should try it again. " I told my doctor at the pain center that I had that strange impulse. He said, " no, you cannot take it again. " LOL!!!! Okay, I guess you had to be there. Welcome to the group. There are a lot of knowledgable, caring people here. Love, Annie > > hi i am annmarie new the group my dr gave me a rx for lyric and it > worked great but then i could not go to the bathroom and i had to go to > the hospital. i have a verysensitive bladder. but i had relief for one > day. that was my problem withlyrica. hope the rest of you it works on.\ > > it also helped my diabetic foot pain-----------but i cannot handle > the side effects too bad >
